Art of Lures

Writer's picture: Michelle FinchMichelle Finch

Proven lures for many years.A Christmas present got me started.i enjoyed sitting in the room in my own little part of the world, tying shafts, beads, blades and hooks into art! A dear friend told me about how his brother use to make them. He saw what I was doing and was impressed.since his brother was diagnosed with MS.He could no longer make them with his condition. My friend gave me his supplies and machine. I love making lures! It's an art !Thinking about color combinations, researching equipment, weight, metal blade design etc.I make universal designs for any fish. But they sure work wonderful with salmon! Hint hint

Currently my lures are Available thru myself, Oscar's fly and tackle and Kispiox Esso.I would like to branch out to other retailers throughout, please share with retailers

Fulltime work for myself and hopefully a part time employee. What is most fulfilling is seeing the children's faces light up when I give them a lure.

Those dedicated children spending hours too. They look up at their parents for permission to take it 😀 but they will be hooked too on fishing
